Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. President Richter greeted the Assembly and league supplies were handed out by roll call. There were (51) dedicated people in attendance. They represented (55) leagues.

Director Forsman reviewed the 2007 MBA Handbook and pointed out changes that were made. (1) Region and Section Commissioners will have voting rights. (2) League dues $50.00, each team $10.00 (3) Radius-Class “C” radius was changed back to (25 miles) (4) No team shall have more than (20) players for Class “C” and (25) for Class “B” on the active roster after June 30th. (Rosters must be typed. (5) Region/Section/State rosters must be typed and turned into the State Secretary before teams play their first game. Action will be taken if these rules are not complied with (6) ProSlide Rule will be used at 1st, 2nd and 3rd base. College Slide rule will be adopted for use at homeplate.

The floor was then open for discussion. These were some of the items: Rosters, Contracts, Courtesy Runner, Teams not releasing players, Leagues not accepting teams.

Motion Forsman, seconded Berry, carried, to approve the North Star Leagues to use a 15-mile radius for all teams in 2007.

Motion Wegscheid, seconded, Forsman, carried, to approve Hadley to play St. Croix Vintage and Austin Ath. to play Slater, Iowa, Eau Claire, Wis.

Motion Hartmann, seconded Forsman, carried, to approve Chris and Bruce Donay to play in the Roy Hobbs “30 and Over” tournament, in Las Vegas, April 14, 15, 16.

Motion Forsman, seconded Roufs, carried, to appoint Dave Hartmann as our advertisement and promotion chairman. He will be in charge to select a committee to work with and reach out to all corners of Minnesota to promote our great program. As with everything else, this takes financial support. The board has earmarked part of this year’s dues increase to help defray some of the cost.
