Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. Bloomington Makes Improvements at Haddox Field

Red-Haddox-Field2
The Bloomington Parks department is getting into the baseball picture. They are coordinating an upgrade of the Red Haddox Field at 90th and Portland. If you drive by today, it looks as though baseball has been eliminated, however, it is merely the beginning of a major renovation.

In mid-November the renovation was started by removing the dugouts, bleachers and backstop.  They will be replaced by a 500 seat grandstand, new dugouts and a new backstop that will have a two and a half foot high wall with a 40 foot high net attached. The plan is for the project to be done before the start of the season in 2010 (April 2, 2010 is the tentative date).

Greg Boatman, Assistant Parks and Recreation Manager for the City of Bloomington, is the project manager and LS Black is the project contractor.  The budgeted cost for the project is $588,720.49 which includes survey work, soil samples, and consultant fees.

The project was brought to fruition by the Legion Baseball group in Bloomington.  They have two teams (Gold and Blue) that will have first scheduling rights at the field and then it will be opened up to the other groups that are interested in playing on the field.  Last year there were 146 reservations for the field according to Jason Hicks, a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Bloomington.

Hicks also pointed out that the field improvements are being paid for by $150,000 that was raised by the Legion.  $100,000 of that money is a donation from the Toro Corporation.  Hennepin County has recently approved a grant of $235,000 from the Youth Sports Program that is funded through the Twins Stadium sales tax.  The City of Bloomington will pay for the balance of the project.

This is an exciting addition for the Bloomington Bandits.  The Bandits have been steadily improving and made the 2009 State A Tournament.  With this upgrade, there are possibilities that the State A Tournament could be held at Red Haddox Field.
