Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. Weekend Tourney Results

All six weekend rournaments were played and finished. Some of them battled the elemnets....


 

All six weekend tournaments were played and finished.  Some of them battled the elements on Friday and even a little Saturday morning, but they all crowned a champion.  In the eleventh annual Kingston Tournament, Rogers beat Kingston 6-4 and then beat Pearl Lake 7-6 in eight innings for the Championship.  In the Consolation bracket Kingston defeated Milaca 6-1.

In New Prague the first round went like this:  St. Benedict beat Cleveland, Jordan beat Cannon Falls, Mpls. Rocks beat Hastings and the Moorhead Brewers beat Green Mill.  In the semi-finals Jordan beat St. Benedict, and Moorhead defeated Mpls. Rocks in 15 innings.  Mpls. Green Mill beat Cannon Falls in the 5th place game, Mpls. Rocks beat Jordan for 3rd place, and the Moorhead Brewers won their second tournament of the year defeating Jordan 6-3 in the Championship.

In St. Cloud, Friday night was washed away but the tourney was played on Sat. and Sunday.  St. Cloud Orthopedics won their own tourney by beating Lake Henry 4-3 in the final game.  They also beat Randall 8-0 to get to the Championship.  Lake Henry had beaten the Mpls. Angels 5-4 to advance to the Championship game.

In Sartell and St. Stephen they also battled rain but played the whole tourney through.  In the first round St. Stephen beat St. Martin 5-3, Springfield lost to Winsted 5-1, Elko beat Sartell 2-1 throwing out the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the 7th for the last out.  Then Carlos beat Milroy 8-7.  In the winners’ bracket Winsted shut out St. Stephen 8-0, and Elko beat Carlos 3-2 in nine innings.  Elko won the tourney beating Winsted 7-4.  Sartell beat Springfield 8-0 for seventh.

At Belle Plaine the tenth Annual Tigertown Classic went like this:  Freeport 4, Belle Plaine 1;  Marshall 5, Union Hill 0;  Waseca 6, LeSueur 1;  and Blue Earth 8, Lonsdale 1.  In the winners’ bracket it was Freeport 9, Marshall 1; and Blue Earth 6, Waseca 0.  Union Hill beat Belle Plaine 16-4 and Lonsdale beat LeSueur 4-3 in  the losers’ bracket.  Union Hill beat Lonsdale 10-2 to win the Consolation Bracket and Blue Earth beat Freeport 8-1 en route to the Championship.     

At Hamburg, Dassel-Cokato beat Montgomery 6-2 to win the tournament.  Elk River defeated Young America 3-0 for third place and Eden Prairie beat the Host Hamburg 4-1 for the Consolation Championship.  Other scores in the losers’ bracket were Hamburg 10, Mound 2 and Eden Prairie 9, Edina 4.  In the winners’ bracket Montgomery beat Young America 3-0, and Elk River lost to D-C 7-5.  Shawn Larson was the tournament MVP going 4-8 with two walks and scoring four runs.  He also got a pitching win.  All-Tourney team was:  Shawn Larson, Eric Hanson, Brent Opsahl and John Riewer from D-C, Mike Flicek, Nick Worm,  and Derek Fautsch from Montgomery and Dan Ebner and  Tony Jarmoluk from Elk River and Greg Laughlin from Eden Prairie.
