Cold Spring, Brainerd Bees, Lyons Pub and the Minneapolis Cobras all finished with two wins and one loss over the weekend in the Nick Bell Classic in Cold Spring. This is how it all shook out. On Friday, Cold Spring beat Hutchinson 6-5 and the Cobras beat Rosetown 12-11.
On Saturday, Cold Spring beat Rosetown 3-2 with Zach Femrite throwing a complete game three hitter. Lyons Pub defeated Hutchinson 7-5, Brainerd beat Lyons Pub 3-2 and the Minneapolis Cobras beat Brainerd 11-6.
Sunday, Brainerd beat Hutchinson 4-1, Lyons Pub beat Rosetown 6-1 and the Minneapolis Cobras beat Cold Spring 8-7 in nine innings. Rosetown finished 1-2 for the weekend and Hutchinson was 0-3.
Cold Spring did get some good news with Steve Huls returning to the lineup. He had been out over five weeks with a broken finger. Ben Griffin is still out of the Cold Spring lineup with a groin injury.
Section 7 B Pairings
The Section 7B pairing have been announced. Cold Spring has been to the State Tournament a record 20 years in a row and they are the number one seed in this year's section 7B tourney. Here is the schedule:

Saturday, Aug. 2: Game 3: #1 Cold Spring Springers vs. game 1 winner, 5 p.m. Game 4: #2 Coon Rapids vs. game 2 winner, 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Aug, 3: Game 5: game 2 loser vs. game 3 loser, 1 p.m. Game 6: game 1 loser vs. game 4 loser, 3:30 p.m. Game 7: game 3 winner vs. game 4 winner, 6 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 8: Game 8: game 5 winner vs. game 6 winner, 8 p.m.
