Section One--Dundas Champion, Miesville Runner-up Hastings and Northfield played a two of three series to qualify for the four team double elimination tournament to be held in Dundas starting August 2. Game one found Hastings beating Northfield 11-1. Game two Hasatings won 8-1.

Section Two--Rochester Champion, Austin Greyhounds Runner-up Rochester lost to the Austin Blue Sox 8-0 on Friday night, August 1. That left three teams tied for first. Rochester won the coin flip and number one seed. The Greyhounds of Austin received the number two seed, and Austin Blue Sox are the number three seed. Faribault is the fourth seed.
Games one is Rochester vs Faribault at 6:00 P.M.,Sunday August 3rd in Rochester. Rochester wins 9-0 by forfeit.
Game two is Austin Greyhounds vs the Austin Blue Sox in Austin on Sunday August 3 at 6:00 P.M. Greyhounds win 4-1.
Games three is Wednesday August 6th at Rochester. It will be Rochester vs the Austin Greyhounds. Game four will be the Austin Blue Sox vs Faribault in Austin. The final game is on Sunday the 10th.

Section Four--Mankato Champion, Marshall Runner-up
Section four has five teams. Plato (5) beat Waseca (4) 10-6 on Wednesday night in Waseca. Plato will play a best of three with Marshall (1). The games are scheduled for Saturday, August 2 in Marshall at 7:30 P.M,. Sunday the 3rd in Plato at 2:00 P.M. and Monday in Marshall at 7:30 if needed. Game one was Marshall 8, Plato 4; Game two found Plato winning 4-0 and game three ended the series as Marshall won 8-3.
Mankato and New Ulm also play a best of three Starting August 1 in Mankato at 7:30 P.M. The next game will be Sunday August 3 at New Ulm and the if needed game would be Monday August 4th in New Ulm at 7:30 P.M. Mankato beat New Ulm two straight, 6-4 and 14-1.
Marshall and Mankato will play a best of three series August 6 (Marshall), 8 (Mankato), and 9 (Marshall)to determine champion and runner-up. All of those games will start at 7:30 P.M. Game One

Section eight-St. Michael Champion, Maple Lake Runner-up This section has six teams and they play two four team double elimination tourneys with the first one determining the three and four seeds in the final tourney. All of the games are at Delano. Hutchinson is the number one seed and St. Michael is the number two seed. They sit out the first tournament. Dassel-Cokato (3) plays Hamel (6) on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:30 P.M. Hamel defeated Dassel-Cokato 2-1. Maple Lake (4) plays Delano (5) on Thursday, July 31 at 7:30 P.M. Delano beat Maple Lake 5-2. Hamel and Delano play on Saturday August 2 at 4:00 P.M. with the winner being the number three seed in the next four team tournament. Maple Lake and Dassel-Cokato play at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday. The winner on Saturday night plays the afternoon loser on Sunday August third at 2:00 P.M. The winner of that game is the number four seed in the next round. Delano 3, Hamel 2. Maple Lake 4, Dasell-Cokato 3. Delano number three seed in the next round. Maple Lake and Hamel play at 2:00 P.M. Sunday for the number four seed in the next round. Maple Lake 13, Hamel 3. The final four team double elim starts on Tuesday August 5 with St. Michael (2) playing Delano at 7:30 P.M. Hutchinson (1) plays Maple Lake on Wednesday night August 6 at 7:30 P.M. The winners play on Friday, August 8 at 7:30 P.M. and the losers play on Saturday, August 9 at 4:00 P.M. The winner of game four plays the loser of game three at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday. The position game is Sunday August 10 at 2:00 P.M. with the if necessary game at 4:30 P.M.
