Former MN Amatuer Baseball Player Ben Bakeberg is looking for broken wood bats to be used for furniture such as bar stools, foot stools, display cases, etc.

Help with old photos

I have a shoebox from my great grandfather full of negatives in perfect condition of baseball games, players, and fields/stadiums. My great grandpa was, George Thompson, one of the founders of the umpires association. He took many pictures back in the '20s-'60s.

Is there anyone who could help me with this project? I need to identify and price what they are worth. Then I would like to start selling copies on paper to places. I need a partner to help me and I would share profits with this person. A lot of these negatives are from Minnesota teams, Chicago, Canada, New York and other places. Chaska and Shakopee Representatives on Mike Max Show Tuesday, August 12

Bob Roepke and Bill Schleper co-chairmen of the Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament from Chaska and Shakopee respectively will be talking baseball and the upcoming Minnesota Amateur Baseball Tournament with Mike Max on Tuesday night August 12 from 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. on WCCO radio.


Also in attendance will be Minnesota Baseball Board of Director Fred Roufs.  Roufs has been a Director for fourteen years and is currently Vice President of the Baseball Association.  

The MBA State Tournament starts this Thursday, August 14 at Chaska and Shakopee.  It features 32 class “C” teams and 16 class “B” teams playing for their respective championships  and will culminate on Labor Day, September 1.  For brackets and pairings of each tourney please click on “State Tourney” above.  

Each site has a number of promotions planned for the tournament and it will be a special preview of the coming State Tournament.  Be sure to tune in tonight at 8:00 P.M.
